Resolved Question: .Has my ex moved on????…?
okay so my ex-girlfriend and i broke up a couple months ago. before we started dating we were pretty close friends for a few years(but lost contact a few times here and there) and she was dating this other guy for about a year and half. well at this fair/carnival type event in my town i ran into her and a couple of her friends. we started to hang out and then her boyfriend eventually met up with us and hung out for a little while but felt ignored(because she was sorta kinda flirting with me..kinda) so when he left we started to talk and eventually it led to sex down by this riverfront. I never thought id ever even do that with her let alone date her, because i never gave a thought about it, mainly because i always looked at her as a friend. But after that day she went back to her boyfriend..broke up with him a few weeks later..and we started to hang out more which eventually led to us dating. so i gave it a shot and i was amazed at how much i fell for her. we had so much in common..more than interests..mainly the way we think. it was great. i thought i would never be able to ever find anyone like her who was on my my very unique level of understanding. so we dated for about two months, when one day her ex shows up at her house and she sends me random text messages about her future and whats best. basically i didnt have a car, job(now i do), and i wasnt convenient enough or shared what they shared. this totally tore me apart because i thought we shared ALOT. anyways after that she stopped texting me, talking to me, deleted me off myspace and blocked me. after a month she sent me a text saying she fucked up when she broke up with me and she missed me. she said she would call me later that night..no call. she then added me back on myspace and told me her bf got on her thing and deleted me and blocked me himself. i know confusing right? so i sent her a comment saying hi hows everything been and i receive no reply. so i was fed up with playing games and reading her shit about her bf on her profile so i deleted her. after about a few weeks(just recently) she adds me back and says she misses me. i replied saying i have no grudges and said everythings cool between us and i said i miss you too. i haven recieved a reply but i dont know whats going to happen. ive always figured this to be a lost cause so i became depressed and still am and trying to move on. does she still hold feelings or am i wasting my time thinking about it?..i know you dont know exactly but any opinions or answers would be appreciated. thanks :]
P.S sorry for it being so long and some stuff is not needed in there but im not good at typing long stuff
Resolved Question: Ah…. what do I do? D=?
What do I do? I’m such a screw up…?
So a few months ago I met this beautiful…no…gorgeous girl for the first time. I don’t know…She had just moved into town because she had switched schools. She was an incredibly kind and understanding person if you could see past her extremely fun and outgoing guise. The second I laid eyes on her… I just knew she was something special. I was incredibly shy…so of course that made everything incredibly awkward…Kind of funny to look back on it…My first words to her were ‘Shut up’, lol. She enjoyed teasing me, and eventually I had gotten used to being around her…We began texting each other…pretty uneventful conversations as you could probably imagine, but none the less I enjoyed them. I was always looking forward to that flashing light on my phone that had indicated a new text message had arrive…my heart would always jump. I was happy, but soon became happier. She began to show a bit of interest in me and we began hanging out at each others houses…though, that too was uneventful, but I really enjoyed her company. One day I gave her a text message confession… so to speak, and she told me that she’d rather her me tell her in person, so we arranged that. One thing led to another and we ended up in an ice cream parlor. We sat down at a table, and she ordered some ice cream. Now, I was shy as hell, and really, and sitting in an ice cream parlor watching the girl of the dreams you can only dream of eating ice cream infront of you so innocently, yet suggestively…was about enough to give me a heart attack. So of course she notices that I am absolutely beet red and tries to help me out a bit. She told me I could either tell her that I like her, or eat some of her ice cream…Looking back on it… there are just so many other things I wish I would’ve done…Anyways, I ended up going with the ice cream. We went back to my place, sort of cuddled a bit, then she had to go. She gave me what was probably the longest and most passionate hug of my life… I really didn’t want to let her go…Though, she was a bit dissapointed I didn’t up and tell her I liked her and decided that she would more or less end our ‘thing’ on the following friday. See, she had a few guys that she loved…amazing people…in comparison with me…I’m a snow flake and they are the polar ice cap. So of course that was an instant loss…Our last memorable moment was just last week? Monday…We went out for a stroll along the riverfront… It was late at night, cold, the winds were picking up…but I didn’t care…Of course, again there are some things I wish I would’ve done, but…too late now…The last hug she gave me…was full of dissapointment. Anyways, she went back to her home town for the break here, and she has just started hating on me and ignoring me for no really good reason… The following day that she left, she bumped into me in the stairwell on purpose just to poke fun, but I was so shy and embarassed that I just sort of ran away… She took that the wrong way of course…and decided it would be a good idea to let all the air out of my tires on my bike and take out the front quick release. I later saw her in the park (she knows I walk that way) sitting on a bench with some friends back in the distance with the cover of some bush so it wouldn’t be as obvious…she was waiting for me to walk by. And now here I am…I just want to talk to her and be around her, but now she hates me… What do I do?

As a fan of both design and Dwell print mag/online, I was super excited for the Dwell On Design conference this weekend. Overall it was worthwhile, though they could have made it a more interesting experience by housing it in a different venue - the LA convention center is massive and feels disconnected from the real world, which is exactly the opposite of what Dwell was trying to convey. Nevertheless, the program was impressive and the exhibits were the stuff of home improvement (or home building) dreams.
California was key to the presentations and exhibits, and the city of LA was the perfect backdrop. Many of the talks focused on local projects, which provided real-world examples of the importance of design thinking in everything from recycling water to food trucks.
To me, the most interesting talk was about LA’s Cleantech Corridor, an ideas competition to rethink the relationships between industry, community, and public spaces that will be applied to an area of downtown along the riverfront. The competition will be announced in July, and is an effort sponsored by SCI-Arc’s Future Initiatives Program and the Architect’s Newspaper. The competition is aimed at architects, engineers, and designers, but the panel stressed that anyone can submit ideas - because you know, sometimes the best ideas come from unexpected places.
Of note from the conference: reclaimed houses, Peter DeMara’s talk on container architecure, the Metamorphosis exhibit, and young, bow-tied furniture designer Benjamin Rollins Caldwell who made a chair out of retired Vegas playing cards and a modern sofa out of recycled zippers.
