Open Question: Best place to live on Queensland Coast?
i’m a 22 year old, single female and moving out of home. i grew up and still live in sydney. i am a very mellow and relaxed person looking to get away from the big city life. i am looking to move somewhere along queensland coast. ive lived close to the sea all my life and would ideally be looking for a 15 minute WALK to the beach maximum, and a coastal town with little tourist population. love hot temperatures so wouldn’t be reluctant to move to northern queensland regions.
not to fussed on the kind of accommodation, just somewhere with one bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom, just the basics to get me by really.
i am a real estate agent. will continue this however always keen to start fresh.
i am also a qualified surf school instructor.

fairly easy person to please.
any suggestions on the best place to live in queensland to suit my life style?

any suggestions?
i was also considering, sunshine coast
however wouldnt have any clue which towns to begin with?

Resolved Question: How could you make money in the long term from global warming?
Suppose that the earth is going to heat up a few degrees in the next several decades. (If you don’t believe it will, just pretend.) What investments would pay off the most? In order to make this more fun, pretend that you have a few billion bucks in the bank.

I would invest in fertile lands that currently have short growing seasons, especially in central Canada and parts of Russia. Real estate near cities that are well above sea level, places where coastal residents will flee as their cities are flooded, would go up in value. Atlanta could become the size of New York, so that’s a great place to invest.

Other good investments — new technologies/methods for controlling the spread of tropical varmints and diseases. More efficient air conditioning technologies.

Tree planting will be a major effort by homeowners and governments alike. Owning a large commercial nursery to provide seedlings would be a money-maker. New ski resorts in colder undeveloped locations will be needed as current resorts lose their snow.

What else?

Resolved Question: Helping a friend, but not being much help. Can anybody help the helper?
A real estate agent wants in the coastal area of Georgia want to compare the variation in the selling price of home on the ocean front with those 1 to 3 blocks from the ocean. A sample of 21 oceanfront homes sold within the last year revealed the standard deviation of the selling prices was $45 600. A sample of 18 homes, also sold within the last year, that were 1 to 3 blocks from the ocean revealed that the standard deviation was $21 330. At the .01 significance level, can we conclude that there is more variation in the selling prices of oceanfront homes?
